Description

The Software Engineer (Night Shift) will be responsible to carryout and sometime lead multiple online projects for multiple clients. This post is specifically catered to meet requirements from our clients in the WEST to meet their working hours by synchronizing with their time which will be our night shift. The candidate should have experience in developing eCom sites, P2P networks (Social Network), CMS based sites and other online, web-based applications. The responsibility includes preparing and designing database structure, architectural designs, flow-charts, DFD, URS and other required project documents. The candidate needs to code extensively, needs to work closely with designers during integration, and testing phase. The candidate must have good communication skills and must communicate proactively with B G Interactive clients and also work closely with Project Management.

Key Qualifications and Skills

  • Fluent written and spoken English a MUST.

  • Graduate in Computer Science.

  • 3-5+ years Experience.

  • Extensive knowledge in PHP, JavaScript, MYSQL, XML, .NET a plus.

  • Good Knowledge in Web 2.0 technology.

  • Expert Experience and Knowledge in AJAX, Mootools, JSON, Prototype, JQuery, ExtJS, Scriptacoulus.

  • Knowledge in div based (table-less/fluid design) development, CSS, XHTML.

  • Experience with Frameworks: Code Igniter, CakePHP.

  • Experience with CMS like: Expression Engine, Joomla, Movable Type, Xoops.

  • Experience with 3rd Party shopping cart like: X-cart, Zen cart, Magento, Foxy Cart.

  • Experience in developing e-com sites, P2P networks (Social Network), blogs, CMS driven sites.

  • Communication/Interpersonal skills to communicate proactively with overseas clients.

  • Work in a team environment and in critical situations.

The responsibility includes preparing and designing database structure, architectural designs, flow-charts, DFD, URS and other required project documents. The candidate needs to code extensively, needs to work closely with designers during integration, and testing phase. The candidate must have good communication skills and must communicate proactively with B G Interactive clients and also work closely with Project Management.
